We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant Manager who will act as the Warehouse Manager in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.  This individual will perform managerial and hands-on responsibilities, such as the ones below:

• Dispatch and manage the routes of the commercial trucks to and from the airport.
• Provide excellent customer service and manage tenant relations.
• Act as the first point of contact with customers and employees before escalation.
• Perform all warehouse functions including receiving, picking, and stocking.
• Perform all driver functions.
• Work with a sense of urgency and convey that to the teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Forklift certification preferred but not required.
• Mechanical/handyman skills preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift items / packages (up to 50 lbs. / 15 kg)
• Good knowledge of HACCP is an asset (training will be provided otherwise)
• Ability to work mornings, day, weekends (depending on assigned shift)
• Attendance, diligence, punctuality, reliability
• This position requires interpersonal skills & the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment
• Background check mandatory
• English required
