Missão
We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant Manager who will act as the Warehouse Manager in the absence of the Warehouse Manager. This individual will perform managerial and hands-on responsibilities, such as the ones below:
- Dispatch and manage the routes of the commercial trucks to and from the airport.
- Provide excellent customer service and manage tenant relations.
- Act as the first point of contact with customers and employees before escalation.
- Perform all warehouse functions including receiving, picking, and stocking.
- Perform all driver functions.
- Work with a sense of urgency and convey that to the teams.
Perfil
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Forklift certification preferred but not required.
- Mechanical/handyman skills preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift items / packages (up to 50 lbs. / 15 kg)
- Good knowledge of HACCP is an asset (training will be provided otherwise)
- Ability to work mornings, day, weekends (depending on assigned shift)
- Attendance, diligence, punctuality, reliability
- This position requires interpersonal skills & the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment
- Background check mandatory
- English required
