Missão
Payroll Administration & Compliance – Key Responsibilities
- Ensure effective management of the Johannesburg (JNB) payroll function
- Ensure payroll is accurately captured and processed within set deadline dates
- Ensure monthly payslips are printed and distributed to employees
- Maintain monthly payroll filing and ensure all records are properly stored
- Ensure employee files are updated, accurate, and compliant at all times
- Conduct regular employee file audits to maintain compliance standards
- Archive terminated employee files in accordance with company procedures
Third-Party Payments & Compliance
Prepare and manage third-party payments and schedules within required deadlines, including but not limited to:
- Garnishees
- Maintenance Orders
- Funeral Contributions
- Union Contributions
- Bargaining Council Contributions
- Provident Fund Contributions
- Ensure all third-party payment schedules are submitted to Finance timeously for processing
- Ensure electronic UIF declarations and claims are submitted via U-Filing
- Ensure submission of Injuries on Duty (IOD) via the relevant online portal
- Ensure year-end OID report is prepared and submitted to Finance for payment
Perfil
Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12
- Payroll Diploma or related Qualifications
- Tax & Legislation Certificate Experience
- Fully Competent in Microsoft Office
- Sage 300 Experience will be and advantage
- At-least 2 years-experience with Sage Premier Experience (Non-Negotiable)
