Mission

Payroll Administration & Compliance – Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective management of the Johannesburg (JNB) payroll function
  • Ensure payroll is accurately captured and processed within set deadline dates
  • Ensure monthly payslips are printed and distributed to employees
  • Maintain monthly payroll filing and ensure all records are properly stored
  • Ensure employee files are updated, accurate, and compliant at all times
  • Conduct regular employee file audits to maintain compliance standards
  • Archive terminated employee files in accordance with company procedures

Third-Party Payments & Compliance

Prepare and manage third-party payments and schedules within required deadlines, including but not limited to:

  • Garnishees
  • Maintenance Orders
  • Funeral Contributions
  • Union Contributions
  • Bargaining Council Contributions
  • Provident Fund Contributions
  • Ensure all third-party payment schedules are submitted to Finance timeously for processing
  • Ensure electronic UIF declarations and claims are submitted via U-Filing
  • Ensure submission of Injuries on Duty (IOD) via the relevant online portal
  • Ensure year-end OID report is prepared and submitted to Finance for payment
Monitor monthly leave report and submit to Finance department for review and 

Profil

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 
  • Payroll Diploma or related Qualifications
  • Tax & Legislation Certificate Experience
  • Fully Competent in Microsoft Office
  • Sage 300 Experience will be and advantage 
  • At-least 2 years-experience with Sage Premier Experience (Non-Negotiable)
