Our Mozambic Operations

Your role:
- We are looking for a Warehouse Manager
Key responsibilities:
Plans and organizes own activities, and those of the warehouse and delivery staff, to provide the most efficient and cost-effective service in line with budgeted service levels and performance targets.
- Monitors the efficient processing of all incoming and outgoing deliveries and ensures that stocks are maintained and stored in accordance with written company policies.
- Main user of the IT tools provides in the management of the inventory and the stock.
- Provide necessary information daily to generate the daily food cost.
- Maintains all records and information for reporting purposes, submitting all reports requested promptly and accurately.
- Supervises the correct use and maintenance delivery vehicles and cooling units, racking and warehouse fittings and immediately advises Contract field Manager of any malfunctions or difficulties with this equipment.
- Assists in maintaining a clean and well-organized warehouse and ensures that all company Health & Safety policies and procedures are maintained.
- Present at all arrival of truck, aircraft provided by the client. Provides report after each arrival as per the format provided.
- Checks and files all delivery & credit notes ensuring that there are no records missing and highlighting any discrepancies found.
- Updates goods in the system with the correct cost.
- Monitors all Purchase orders /Sales orders.
- Manage and organize perpetual inventory.
- Inputs all approved and authorized stock adjustments.
- Ensure that the Culture & Value program is understood and the same is communicated to all staff to enable them to live up to company expectations.
- Follow all applicable policies and procedures required for the successful execution of the job.
Profil
Profil :
- At least 5 years or more proven quality assurance experience, in Catering and food industry
- Good knowledge of food safety and Hygiene standards, Catering business procedures.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client and customer services.
- Good business and commercial acumen.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills including the ability to build strong relationships with customers and staff.
- Financial, budgeting and stock-taking skills.
- Knowledge of food, food hygiene (including hazard analysis and critical control points) and food preparation.
