In this role, you’ll oversee fleet management, delivery logistics, and team performance to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time service to our airline partners. You’ll play a critical role in optimizing routes, managing schedules, enforcing safety and compliance standards, and driving operational excellence across all transportation activities.

What You’ll Do
Operations & Service Delivery
Oversee all handling operations: aircraft loading, delivery, ramp activities, and coordination with airport authorities
Ensure on-time delivery aligned with customer requirements and flight schedules
Monitor and optimize daily operations based on aircraft movements and service demand
Act as final decision-maker for operational changes, requests, and service adjustments
Maintain strong communication and follow-up with airline customers
Profil
Scheduling & Optimization
Plan and optimize team schedules to ensure efficient coverage and service execution
Analyze delivery routes and schedules to improve efficiency and reduce delays
Ensure accurate and timely updates of passenger load (PAX) and service details
Team Leadership
Manage staff across all levels: hiring, training, coaching, discipline, and performance management
Assign work, monitor hours, and ensure productivity standards are met
Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
Fleet & Equipment Management
Oversee transportation operations, including fleet and equipment tracking
Ensure proper use, maintenance, and cleanliness of vehicles, docks, and workstations
Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance for fleet
Track and optimize fuel consumption
Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with company policies, GMP standards, and all applicable regulations
Enforce safety standards for ramp operations, vehicles, equipment, and facilities
Monitor and address food safety alerts in partnership with Quality team
Ensure proper use of PPE and ongoing safety training compliance
Performance & Reporting
Track and manage operational KPIs (on-time performance, incidents, safety, etc.)
Implement action plans to improve performance and meet company standards
Ensure all additional services are properly recorded and billed
Provide regular reporting and updates to the Unit Manager

What You Bring
College degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management, or related field preferred
Minimum of 3 years of management experience in transportation, logistics, aviation, or food service operations
Proven experience in food handling, logistics, transportation, or airline industry required
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written)
Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams
Strategic thinker with the ability to solve problems, make decisions, and resolve conflicts effectively
Valid driver’s license required
Ability to obtain and maintain all airport security clearances (SIDA badge eligibility)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
