Newrest has an exciting opportunity available for a Pick & Pack Production Supervisor. This individual will be responsible for overseeing 50-60 individuals per shift. This individual will ensure that the beverage and snack carts are filled, placed, and sent out in a timely and quality manner. This individual will be working alongside the general workers and other positions within the department and not necessarily be at their desk.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Under the supervision of the Pick & Pack Manager, the Pick & Pack Supervisor supervises and manages the work of the employees during the shift
• Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed per Newrest and client’s requirements
•  Communicate effectively with all crew members and team members
•  Hold team members accountable for all expectations
•  Assist with any coaching and/or corrective actions
•  Assist with approving and handling questions regarding timecards and pay.
• Provide solutions to problems that occur during the process of loading beverages, snacks, and provisions on to the carts
• Enforce safety for all processes
• Organize regular audits on the runway and set up corrective action plans as appropriate
• Perform maintenance on the fleets and follow up to ensure proper safety maintenance
• Regular and timely attendance is expected for the position
• Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma required
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in previous supervisory type of position, preferably in manufacturing environment.
• Flexibility to work any schedule
