Job Purpose
To ensure the management of allergen control is carried out using Winrest (Newrest tool) ensuring all procedures are adhered to. Supporting the QHSE manager by carrying out tasks to update allergens, in person, online, and via telephone. To provide excellent standards of service at all times to maximise client enjoyment of products and to ensure the site and its assets are safe and secure at all times.

Profil
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities – General
1. Arrange meetings by scheduling appropriate meeting times, booking rooms, and planning refreshments.
2. Manage correspondence by answering emails and sorting mail.
3. Draft, format, and print relevant documents.
4. Creates agendas and takes meeting notes.
5. Interact with managers and carry out all work requests.
6. Adhere to Unit safety measures in place.
7. Adhere to inflight services security compliance.
8. Adhere to clean as you go standard.
9. Comply with all unit Corporate, Social, Responsibility initiatives.
10. Ensure you are aware and comply with QHSE policies and procedures.
11. Ensure you understand Newrest Non-negotiables and adhere to these at all times.
12. Interact with, colleagues, customers and clients in a professional manner at all times.
13. Any other duties as requested by your manager.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities – Allergen Management
1. Responsible for ensuring all allergens are recorded correctly against each product purchased
2. Responsible for obtaining back door specifications for all products purchased
3. Responsible for generating a master supplier register recording all versions of back door specifications.
4. Responsible for updating Winrest system (relating to allergens).
5. Responsible for contacting suppliers to ensure we are working with correct versions of data
6. Responsible for addressing supplier queries
7. Responsible for actively participating in allergen control meetings.
8. Responsible for ensuring customer and operational needs in terms of allergens are fully understood and communicated in a timely manner.
9. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and external agencies to provide a seamless service.
10. Produce, customer data in relation to allergens
11. Interact with, colleagues, customers and clients in a professional manner at all times.
12. Adhere to Unit safety measures in place.
13. Adhere to Inflight services security compliance.
14. Adhere to clean as you go standard.
15. Interact with colleagues and clients on site in a professional manner at all times.

19. Report all accident/hazards/near misses, in your area in line with Newrest requirements.

Knowledge and Skills
Ø Minimum 1/2 years’ experience in a food safety environment. (desirable)
Ø The ability to work calmly under pressure.
Ø Excellent communication, team work and customer service skills.
Ø Good literacy skills, verbal written and spoken in English.
Ø Operational awareness, understand of HACCP, Food Allergens, COSHH, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and DFT requirements. (Role specific)
Ø Knowledge of micro soft word and excel
Ø Data entry skills, good numeracy and attention to detail.
Ø Organisational skills.
Ø Customer service focus.
