Roles and Responsibilities

1. Perform detailed security searches of aircraft carts and record numbers according to company procedures.
2. Ensure no prohibited or suspicious items are found before final mile catering operations begin.
3. Apply security seals to aircraft carts and equipment as required.
4. Verify that all security seals are correctly recorded and remain intact throughout the process and complete customs paperwork.
5. Accurately complete security documentation, search records and seal logs.
6. Conduct temperature, quality and product date checks.
7. Follow aviation security regulations at all times.
8. Adhere to clean as you go standard.
9. Adhere to inflight services security compliance.
10. Interact with colleagues, customers and clients in a professional manner at all times.

 Essential Skills

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in catering (desirable)
• Able to work calmly under pressure.
• Excellent communication, team work and customer service skills.
• Good literacy skills, verbal, written and spoken
• Operational awareness, understanding of HACCP, COSHH, DDA, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and DFT requirements.
