Missão
Newrest is looking for a QHSE Officer who will oversee the food safety and health and safety aspects of the facilities managed by the company.
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out operational controls arising from Newrest Quality, Health, Safety and Environment policy in order to ensure that these standards are respected in accordance with the commitments and standards in force.
As a key player in the “I Care program”, “Be the Change program” and all other aspects of the Group's integrated management system and corporate social responsibility, you will implement the 07 pillars under the direction of the Q.H.S.E. Director, providing support to area managers and ambassadors for these programs.
You are hierarchically attached to the QHSE Director.
Quality function
- Carry out operational controls in each unit
- Ensure the evaluation of the system through internal audits
- Participate in the implementation of corrective actions in case of non-conformity and monitor their effectiveness
- Ensure the conformity of menus during inspections
- Verify and validate the traceability of production
- Work with the QHSE Manager to investigate all accidents, incidents and food complaints and prepare an action plan
- Provide training to area managers and employees in all departments
- Train all managers and staff on Newrest digital tools
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.
Safety function
- Ensure the proper application of the Quality/Hygiene/Security/Environment provisions defined by Newrest
- Apply the HACCP approach
- Carry out operational safety inspections.
Hygiene function
- Provide the operational support necessary to maintain the hygiene level of the units
- Carry out the self-checks defined in the health control plan
Activity area
- You will be required to travel throughout the country on a daily basis
- The tasks described above are likely to evolve and be modified according to operational needs and regulatory changes
Perfil
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related to Food Safety
- Proven understanding of Good Hygiene Practice (GHP), and HACCP regulations
- English written and spoken mandatory , French is a plus.
- Good communication skills with ability to correct and teach at the same time
- Well-organized, rigorous and methodical but enough adaptability to local constraints
