Missão
- Scheduling – Weekly schedules for Supervisors and Leads, PTO coverage, Shift bids, Zone Assignments, shift rotations, etc.
- Training – Ensure Bridge training in current for Leads and Supervisors, on-board training of new Supervisors and Leads
- Safety and Compliance Audits – Monitor Supervisors are doing required amount of safety audits
- New Operational Processes – Assist in rollout of new ramp processes and updating of ramp SOPs
- Customer Interaction – Attend Ramp Safety meetings with UA customer, attend station operational briefings at SOC when needed
- Investigations – Lead Transportation Department involvement in ramp investigations (accidents, FOAs, delays, near misses, hazards, etc)
- Coaching – Safety, Attendance and performance corrective actions
- Badging Compliance – Monitor Leads and Supervisors applications for badge renewals
- Oversee drivers and ensure compliance with all USDA agencies standards.
- Be diligent, punctual, and reliable.
- Perform other duties assigned.
- Visibly wear Newrest uniform, including safety vest, work boots, and SIDA badge.
- Maintain proper compliance with general manufacturing practices.
- Drive a company vehicle while respecting ramp regulations.
- Observe the proper use of equipment.
- Follow all procedures for health, safety, and security.
- Understand and be aware of the rapidly changing work environment.
Perfil
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
- High school diploma/General Education Degree (GED).
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check.
- Valid driver’s license and current driving abstract, if required
- Able to pass security identification display area (SIDA Badge) including CBP clearance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Good understanding of logistics and fleet procedures.
- Good knowledge of HACCP & food safety standards.
- Aptitude in showing self-initiative and follow-through
Working Conditions
- The temperature of the environment may fluctuate drastically from very cold to very warm temperatures. The noise level may range from moderate to very loud.
