Missão
Newrest is looking for a temporary driver to complete our Glasgow runs. As a driver you will be responsible for loading the catering consignment(s) onto a truck as per the daily load plan, flights schedule and unloading of vehicle(s) at the unit. Check the load is safe and secure prior to driving the truck to the airfield by using a designated route. Complete aircraft engagement(s) as per the customer and ramp procedures, guidelines. Catering and de-catering of an aircraft(s) must be completed as per each customer precision time schedule.
Location: Manchester
Reports to: Transport Manager
Shift: Night working 00:00hrs start time and on a 4 on / 4 off rolling shift pattern (10-12hrs per shift)
Pay: £13.50ph

Perfil
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
1. Check your vehicle prior to use at the start of your shift as standard security and safety protocol.
2. Report any vehicle defects and/or damage to team leader.
3. Ensure vehicle is security checked and sealed by an authorised staff member before departing to the airport with specified documentation.
4. To comply with Food Safety and Hygiene protocols, ensure vehicle refrigeration is switched on to maintain temperature levels as per the guidelines.
5. Load and unload catering on and off the truck and aircraft in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with airport safety rules, airline requirements and Company Safety procedures.
6. Load aircraft as per the galley plans and adhering to company policy.
7. Drive to the aircraft adhering to DVLA, local and airport rules and or law.
8. Drive on to aircraft as per your training, ensuring you do not deviate from it at any point
9. Hand over to crew ensuring security paperwork is handed over to crew and the delivery note is signed.
10. Return catering to the unit and ensure it is offloaded into the relevant department
11. Ensure Tacho is used correctly for every trip and in compliance with Road Traffic Regulations.
12. Operating high loader vehicle following training and health and safety procedures.
13. Delivering and collecting from various destinations in the UK when requested.
14. Report any incidents and accidents to your Line Manager.
15. Ensure correct uniform and relevant PPE is worn at all times whilst on shift.
16. Ensure vehicles are kept clean and tidy.
17. Refuelling vehicles as and when required.
18. Minor maintenance of vehicles i.e., top-up screen wash, ad-blue.
19. Adhere to Unit safety measures in place.
20. Adhere to Inflight services security compliance.
21. Adhere to clean as you go standard.
22. Interact with colleagues and clients on site in a professional manner at all times.
23. Comply with all unit Corporate, Social, Responsibility initiative
24. 3.5t Luton van driving experience preferable
25. Trunking – driving to a singular destination and returning to site
26. No more than 6pts for insurance purposes (no IN’s or DN’s)
