Mission
- Fault finding, repair and maintenance of industrial kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, combi ovens, bakery equipment and appliances.
- Maintenance of lighting, distribution boards and building electrics.
- Ensure compliance with SANS 10142 and OHS Act.
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance and complete job cards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot cold rooms, freezer rooms, blast chillers and commercial fridges.
- Perform maintenance, temperature calibration and leak checks.
- Work with Quality and Food Safety teams to prevent product loss.
- Participate in emergency call-outs and after-hours maintenance when required.
- Conduct electrical testing and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records for audits.
Profil
Minimum Requirements
- Qualified Electrician – Red Seal / Trade Test Certificate (Compulsory).
- Matric / Grade 12.
- N3 Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification advantageous.
- 3–5 years' experience in electrical maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with commercial refrigeration systems.
- Experience in fault-finding on single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
- Experience working in a commercial, industrial, catering, food production or similar environment will be advantageous.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends and respond to emergency breakdowns when required.
