Although each career path is different and is based on one’s strengths and company needs, a typical career path for a Supply Lead is the following: Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Manager.
Required Responsibilities
- Able to work a flexible work style.
- Able to work in sub-freezing, refrigerated, and ambient temperatures.
- Maintain a safe working environment through each shift.
- Accurately and safely unload trucks.
- Complete all Inventory Orders, BOL’s, and CCP processes for all product movement.
- Report damaged product to Supervisor, Assistant Manager or Manager immediately.
- Isolate damaged materials for inspection purposes. Identify and report discrepancies in received product.
- Carefully arrange, date, (where applicable) and flat stack product in designated locations on Production Floor, Holding Area, and PnP Floor.
- Move product to appropriate freezer, refrigerated or dry storage areas in a safe manner.
- Always maintain a clean workspace area. This includes the Dock area, Distribution Truck cab and Truck cargo area.
- Remove recyclable materials from dock area and located in the proper areas of the Unit.
- Collect, stack, arrange and remove all empty pallets throughout the facility.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained, inspected, and cleaned according to operating procedures.
- Ensure daily Forklift, EPJ, and Truck Inspections are completed.
- Regular and timely attendance is expected for this position.
- Perform other duties as assigned
