Your role:
- We are looking for a Deputy Unit Manager
- You will report to the Unit Manager and General Manager
Key responsibilities:
Operations & Leadership
-
Support the Unit Manager in overseeing daily operations across all departments, with focus on logistics, transport, and customs.

Ensure smooth service execution in line with contractual commitments.

Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
-
Develop team capabilities and ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies.
-
Support business growth by strengthening client relationships.
Performance & Financial Control
-
Monitor KPIs (costs, productivity, quality, OTP, customer satisfaction).
-
Implement corrective actions and support achievement of financial targets.
-
Control payroll, material costs, and overall economic performance.
Compliance, Safety & Quality
-
Ensure full compliance with HACCP, hygiene, safety, and company standards.

Follow and enforce all customs regulations and internal procedures.

Manage audits and ensure readiness (quality, hygiene, safety).
-
Oversee maintenance of equipment and fleet using company systems.
Systems & Processes

Ensure effective use of company tools (e.g. Winrest) and support digital processes.
Customer Relations

Maintain strong customer relationships and high satisfaction levels.

Handle complaints and implement corrective actions in coordination with relevant teams.
Deputy Unit Manager – Aufgaben
Operations & Führung

Unterstützung des Unit Managers bei der Steuerung des Tagesgeschäfts in allen Abteilungen, mit Fokus auf Logistik, Transport und Zoll.

Sicherstellung eines reibungslosen Ablaufs gemäß vertraglichen Verpflichtungen.
-
Förderung von kontinuierlicher Verbesserung und operativer Effizienz.
-
Entwicklung der Mitarbeiter sowie Sicherstellung der Einhaltung arbeitsrechtlicher und interner Vorgaben.

Unterstützung beim Ausbau von Kundenbeziehungen und Geschäftsentwicklung.
Performance & Controlling
-
Überwachung von KPIs (Kosten, Produktivität, Qualität, OTP, Kundenzufriedenheit).
-
Umsetzung von Korrekturmaßnahmen und Unterstützung bei der Erreichung finanzieller Ziele.
-
Kontrolle von Personalkosten, Materialkosten und wirtschaftlichen Kennzahlen.
Compliance, Sicherheit & Qualität
-
Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von HACCP-, Hygiene-, Sicherheits- und Unternehmensstandards.
-
Einhaltung und Durchsetzung aller Zollvorschriften und internen Prozesse.
-
Durchführung und Begleitung von Audits (Qualität, Hygiene, Sicherheit).
-
Überwachung der Wartung von Equipment und Fahrzeugflotte mithilfe von Systemen.
Systeme & Prozesse
-
Sicherstellung der Nutzung von Unternehmenssystemen (z. B. Winrest) und Unterstützung der Digitalisierung.
Kundenmanagement
-
Sicherstellung einer hohen Kundenzufriedenheit.

Bearbeitung von Reklamationen sowie Umsetzung von Korrekturmaßnahmen in Abstimmung mit relevanten Abteilungen.

Profil
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Hospitality, Catering, Management, or Logistics.
- Fluent in English, German, and French (written and spoken).
- Leadership, team management, project management, time management, HACCP knowledge, adaptable, stress-resistant.
- Minimum 3 years in catering operations and management roles. Junior candidates from catering operations willing to take on new challenges are welcome.
