Mission

As a TSA you will work in a team who work under pressure, in new environments daily. You will undertake duties in all areas of the business airside & landside Operations and Dispatch. You will need an eye for details as you will be required to and supervise the inflight catering screening process.

Reports To:                Transport Shift / Department Manager

Rate of Pay:               £14.76 per hour

Shift:                          5 On 3 Off, rolling roster

Mandatory:                UK manual driving licence, maximum 3 points

Profil

Roles and Responsibilities  

  1. Carry out primary security checks of the airline equipment in in accordance with both CAA and DfT regulations.
  2. Carry out vehicle security searches in accordance with both CAA and DfT regulations.
  3. Effectively fill requisitions and load airline food and catering supplies inside delivery trucks.
  4. Ensure drivers are provided with all catering components for each flight on time.
  5. Assist in the catering and de-catering of all aircraft as instructed by block plans and allocator.
  6. Ensure aircraft are catered following correct galley plan for that aircraft.
  7. Ensure all catering and de-catering is completed on time and following current SLAs.
  8. Ensure all inbound catering and equipment is moved from the trucks into the wash and pick & pack.
  9. Utilise effective communications to minimise delays and resolve problems.
  10. Multitask and work under pressure.
  11. Lift and/or push approximately 50lbs.
  12. Pack carts/ Production trollies to the required standard and in in accordance with passenger volumes.
  13. Ensure production and off Dock schedules are met.
  14. Support other departments and teams when and where required to maintain production/dispatch schedule.
  15. All products and equipment meet the required standard before leaving the unit.
  16. Stock is rotated to get maximum shelf life both in the Dispatch and in the unit.
  17. Ensuring COSHH and HACCP, are always adhered to.
  18. Adhere to clean as you go standard.
  19. Adhere to COVID19 measures.
  20. Adhere to inflight services security compliance.
  21. Support other departments and teams when and where required to maintain production/dispatch schedule.
  22. Adhere to Unit safety measures in place.
  23. Adhere to inflight services security compliance.
  24. Adhesion to clean as you go standard.
  25. Interact with, colleagues, customers, and clients in a professional manner always.
  26. Comply with all unit Corporate, Social, Responsibility initiatives.
  27. Any other duties as requested by your manager.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Essential UK Driving license, with no points.
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in catering (desirable).
  • Proven experience of working with customers.
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and customer service skills.
  • Good literacy skills, verbal written and spoken.
  • Operational awareness, understand of HACCP, COSHH, DDA, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and DFT requirements. (Role specific).
