Mission
For this challenging job you can expect:
- Receives incoming calls, coordinates with staff to ensure flights are handled on schedule.
- Monitors software to determine arriving/departing flight times to ensure drivers reach the aircraft on time to unload/load.
- Provides accurate and on time information to Flight Supervisors, Drivers and Helpers.
- Coordinates with other operational departments on irregularities and changes.
- Assists/supports with loading/unloading trucks, to help drivers deliver on time.
- Provides a clean working environment, maintain clean docks, trucks and maintains clean equipment according to regulations.
- Follow all safety rules and company standards.
- Wear uniform and safety shoes while on duty.
- Check the compliance of documents and information provided.
- Report/communicate any disruption to the hierarchy and other teams on a daily basis.
- Complete the required security documents and carry out the appropriate commands and checks.
- Perform other duties as assigned from Management
- Good decision-making ability in high-pressure situations.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrating ability to maintain and monitor files effectively.
- Able to work under pressure and stay calm with close supervision.
- Experience with conflict and problem solving.

Profil
What Newrest thinks is important for this function:
- Previous airline operating experience is a plus.
- Good English and Dutch communication skills, verbal and written.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Obtain all required security clearances for Airside.
- Be able to read, write and speak English.
- Good knowledge of HACCP (training will be provided)
- Ability to work mornings, evenings, nights and weekends (depending on assigned shift and government regulations).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Be able to work independently and in a team.
- Presence, dedication, punctuality, reliability
Newrest will offer you:
- 1 year contract with the prospect of a permanent contract
- Salary indication scale 5-6 inflight catering CAO (experience related)
- Irregularity allowance
- year-end bonus
- 25 vacation days + 13 ATV days
- Travel allowance
