Profil

What You’ll Do 

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced environment  

  • Work safely in sub-freezing, refrigerated, and ambient temperatures throughout each shift  

  • Accurately and safely unload trucks and incoming deliveries  

  • Complete all inventory documentation, including orders, BOLs, and CCP processes  

  • Identify, report, and isolate damaged or non-conforming products for inspection  

  • Report discrepancies in received goods to leadership promptly  

  • Properly arrange, label, date (as applicable), and stack products in designated areas  

  • Transport products safely to freezer, refrigerated, and dry storage locations  

  • Maintain cleanliness of dock areas, truck cabs, and cargo spaces at all times  

  • Manage recycling and waste by removing and sorting materials appropriately  

  • Collect, stack, and remove empty pallets throughout the facility  

  • Ensure all equipment is inspected, maintained, and cleaned per procedures  

  • Complete daily inspections for forklifts, electric pallet jacks (EPJ), and trucks  

  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment  

  • Demonstrate consistent, reliable, and punctual attendance  

  • Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs  

What You Bring 

  • Previous experience in supply, purchasing, receiving, or inventory required 

  • Experience operating forklifts preferred, current forklift certification a plus 

  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English 

  • Basic math skills with the ability to count accurately 

  • Ability to understand and work with documents such as purchase orders, bills of lading, and shipping documents 

  • Ability to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment 

  • Flexibility to support multiple areas within the department as needed 

  • Understanding of how individual performance impacts upstream and downstream operations 

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors and team members

The role of the Supply Lead at Newrest is physically demanding. You must stand, walk, talk, listen regularly, and use your hands to handle or feel. You must also lift, push, and move up to 50 pounds. The work environment can be either on the dock or in cold storage areas, with temperatures ranging from very hot to very cold and noise levels varying from moderate to very loud.
