Our Mozambique Operations

• Rotation: 8 weeks / 3 weeks

• Location: North of Mozambic

Your role:

• We are looking for a Maintenance Manager.
• You will report to the Operations Manager

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinates tasks of a technical nature on the different sites, improving installations, machines, engines and other equipment, which relate to the whole area of Maintenance
• Application of Quality, Hygiene and Food Safety rules at work and environmental management
• Program and supervise corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance activities, with a view to keeping equipment in proper working order
• Coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance, through activities such as supervision and installation of systems (electrical, hydraulic, etc.)
• Program the operation of machinery and supervise installation services in order to expand and improve the capacity and productivity of equipment
• Market research and analysis of the cost-benefit ratio of the work, researching and registering new maintenance materials for inclusion in stock items and the purchasing system
• Schedule equipment downtime for preventive and corrective maintenance, with a view to minimizing equipment downtime
• Selecting and contracting third-party services for equipment repairs, based on a technical assessment
• Schedule services relating to small installations, maintenance services or improvements to factory and office building installations
• Drawing up projects for the development of devices for machinery and equipment, drawing up electrical projects for automation and energy distribution
• Coordinates the receipt and inspection of materials for maintenance, ensuring their compliance with specifications
• Provides information on equipment and production areas; Ensure the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization
• Ensure that the integrity of the quality management system is maintained when changes to the quality management system are planned and implemented
• Under the guidance of the General and Operations Manager, carries out other tasks inherent to the position
• Strictly comply with the rules and instructions on safety, health and hygiene at work and environmental management of fire prevention, and contribute to avoiding risks that could endanger their safety, that of their colleagues, third parties and the employer, facilities and materials
• Ensure compliance with customer and company safety rules and the appropriate use of PPE.

• Academic qualifications: Degree in Electricity, Mechanics or engineering related areas
• Proven professional training of at least 5 years in the area 
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of electronics and electrical engineering 
• Organization
• Easy to coordinate a team
• Responsibility
• English and/or Portuguese is mandatory
