We’re looking for an Assistant Supply Manager (ASM) to support and oversee our supply operations. In this role, you will lead supply team members, manage procurement processes, and ensure smooth, efficient purchasing and inventory functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all purchasing activities, including purchase order processing, delivery coordination, record keeping, and supervision of the Supply Team.
  • Ensure procurement operations meet quality standards, cost targets, and deadlines.
  • Implement and maintain accurate price updates and ensure timely, error‑free supply data entry.
  • Partner with the Finance & Accounting team to resolve supplier and vendor invoice discrepancies.
  • Generate material requirements based on business needs and current inventory levels.
  • Assist with day‑to‑day inventory management and accuracy.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve purchasing‑related issues as they arise.
  • Manage all Winrest system processes and act as the main point of contact for supply‑related Winrest tasks.
  • Compliance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)/General manufacturing practices (GMP) guidelines for personal hygiene and observe security precautions as mandated by Newrest rules and regulations.
  • Support a strong safety culture by ensuring team members remain trained and compliant with safety initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned; responsibilities may evolve based on operational needs.

Perfil

Educational/ Experience Requirements:


  • High school diploma, or GED equivalent required
  • Bachelor's in supply chain management, operations management or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or food industry managing direct reports in a similar environment strongly preferred, experience in supply chain a big plus.
  •  Strong leadership experience in turnaround environments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels, from non‑exempt staff to senior leadership.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and procurement procedures, lean manufacturing principles, good knowledge of HACCP & food safety standards, an aptitude in showing self-initiative, follow-through, and detail oriented.
