We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SIDA Supervisor to support our airport operations and ensure full compliance with all security and regulatory requirements.
Job Summary
The SIDA Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the airport badging process for new hires, contractors, and current employees. This role ensures compliance with airport, TSA, and Customs regulations while maintaining accurate records and timely processing. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, leadership experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Perfil
Key Responsibilities

Oversee the Airport Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badging process for all new hires, contractors, and renewing employees.

Coordinate appointments and documentation for fingerprinting, badge issuance, renewals, and required training.

Review and audit documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Track badge status and follow up proactively to meet deadlines.

Maintain SIDA and Customs Seal tracking databases with accurate records.

Ensure Customs Seal applications are completed and verified according to security guidelines.

Provide regular updates and reports to management and key stakeholders.

Train and mentor staff on badging procedures, policies, and regulatory changes.

Maintain confidentiality and ensure adherence to airport security standards.

Collaborate with HR, Operations, and Security teams to resolve issues and escalations.

Identify and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and employee experience.

Oversee badge retrieval and ensure timely return of badges to the SIDA office.

Support additional administrative duties as needed.

Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
-
2–4 years of experience in HR, security operations, or an airport environment strongly preferred.

Prior supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred.

Experience in aviation or a regulated security environment is a plus.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This position is primarily office-based but may require visits to airport or manufacturing facilities. The role involves sitting, walking, talking, hearing, and frequent use of hands and arms.
