Transport Allocator

Join the team as a Dispatch Allocator and help us deliver flawless service on every flight.  You will support the Transport Team in managing the daily operation, taking ownership and accountability for meeting operational objectives and targets. Co-ordinating inbound/outbound flight schedules and routing to drivers.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

1. Ensure off Dock schedules are met.
2. Ensure all inbound flights are de-catered and departing flights are catered in time to meet current SLAs.
3. Liaise with airlines and their handling agents to ensure all departure times and current SLAs. are met.
4. Ensure block plans are checked and update the following day/weeks flights.
5. Ensure block plans are followed and updated and teams allocated to meet departure times and SLAs.
6. Ensure all dispatch documentation follows CAA and DFT regulations.
7. Ensure the correct vehicles are allocated for the correct requirement.
8. Print tickets when out of hours aircraft or flight changes happen.
9. Liaise with all departments in the event of aircraft or flight changes.
10. Full and clear Operational logs to be maintained and completed.
11. Ensuring COSHH and HACCP, are adhered to at all times.
12. Adhere to clean as you go standard.
13. Adhere to inflight services security compliance.
14. Carry out primary security checks of the airline equipment in accordance with both CAA and DfT regulations.
15. Carry out vehicle security searches in accordance with both CAA and DfT regulations.

Rotating Nine and half hour Shifts, 5 on 3 off, start times from 4am, you must be able to stay until the flights leave, which means, extending shifts on a regular basis. 

• You must have a UK Manual driving license with maximum 3 points.
• Minimum 1 years’ experience in catering operations (desirable).
• The ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Excellent communication, team work and customer service skills.
• Good literacy skills, verbal written and spoken.
• Excel skills.
• Operational awareness, understand of HACCP, COSHH, DDA, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and DFT requirements.
