Mission

SUMMARY:

The Pick & Pack Lead will ensure that food trolleys are properly filled, and processes are followed based on our airline client needs.  The Lead will work alongside the other team members.  The Lead will be the individual who answers team members' frequent questions and supervises the work of others.  The Lead is a servant leader who will be able to ensure that the manager's and supervisor's direction is followed while working alongside the team. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Lead by example in all responsibilities of Pick & Pack.
  • Ensure that all policies and processes are followed in the Pick & Pack area.
  • Rotate products as appropriate; provide designated items to appropriate departments.
  • Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Conduct inbound processes of new merchandise in accordance with guidelines and following all prescribed procedures, ability to understand specificities for each airline.
  • Physical and administrative handling of merchandise.
  • Take appropriate action to label, store, sort, and dispose of merchandise as instructed.
  • Inform Team Lead, Supervisor, or Manager of daily activity and/or any issues/concerns.
  • Assist in maintaining Security and Health and Safety requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to procedural and policy requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
  • This position requires the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned by supervisor or management.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable requirements related to product and service quality, environmental standards, food safety, and health and safety regulations.
  • Promote a safe and healthy work environment by preventing work-related injuries and illnesses, eliminating hazards, and reducing health and safety risks.
  • Compliance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)/General manufacturing practices (GMP) guidelines for personal hygiene and observe security precautions as mandated by unit management.
  • Satisfactory and punctual attendance are expected.
  • All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
