Mission

  • Ensure the roster is completed on time.
  • Daily management of the warehouse team (unpacking of shipments/picking of the orders).
  • Conducting stock count according to the client schedules.
  • Capturing stock count in the customers portal.
  • Reporting the stock issued on the customers portal.
  • Check the shipment received (qty received matching with the packing list) and report any issues.
  • Report the zero-stock items in the warehouse.
  • Label the incoming shipments as per customs regulation.
  • Liaise with the clearing team for the receipt of the shipment.
  • Ensure that the FIFO is always followed when issuing stock.
  • Ensure that the warehouse is clean and tidy.
  • Communicate with the team based at Newrest unit on the picking status and delivery time of the order.
  • Send the paperwork for the customs entry (XES).
  • Ensure that the team is working smart and in a safe manner (fall from height, lifting of heavy boxes, accident with the forklift).

Profile

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 or NQF Level4
  • Short Course in Leadership Development
  • Knowledge of HACCP

Experience:

  • 2 Year’s
  • Some Staff Management experience
