Newrest is looking for a Quality Control Auditor to oversee quality control processes. Duties include inspecting the product to ensure it meets the requirements of the specifications provided. This individual will be standing all day. Newrest values promoting people from within. Responsibilities:

• Strong attention to detail
• Monitor and inspect to ensure quality and that specifications are met.
• Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Conduct inbound processes of new merchandise in accordance with guidelines and following all prescribed procedures, ability to understand specificities for each airline.
• Physical and administrative handling of merchandise
• Inform the Team Lead, Supervisor, or Manager of daily activity and/or any issues/concerns.
• Assist in maintaining Security and Health and Safety requirements.
• Conduct inbound processes of new merchandise by guidelines and following all prescribed procedures.
• Ability to understand the specificities of each airline.
• Take appropriate action to label, store, sort, and dispose of merchandise as instructed.
• Inform the Team Lead or Manager of daily activity and/or issues or concerns.
• Assist in maintaining Security and Health and Safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned by the team lead or management.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift items/packages (up to 50 lbs./15 kg)
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
