As the Training Manager, you will be directly responsible for the performance of the Transportation Training Team. This includes ensuring Drivers and Helpers are trained, qualified, and compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety requirements, and operational expectations through both classroom instruction and hands-on parking lot training. You will oversee a continuous training pipeline of approximately 50–60 employees at various stages of onboarding and qualification while partnering with Operations leadership to deliver a safe, compliant, and highly skilled workforce.

Profile
Required Responsibilities
Manage the Driver and Helper training program from onboarding through certification.
Oversee approximately 50–60 trainees simultaneously across multiple phases of classroom and practical training.
Develop weekly and monthly training schedules based on hiring needs.
Conduct classroom instruction covering SOPs, safety, customer service, food safety, TSA/DOT requirements, and operational procedures.
Lead parking lot and field training including vehicle inspections, maneuvering, dock procedures, aircraft approach procedures, and equipment operation.
Evaluate trainee performance through written and practical assessments.
Maintain accurate training records and compliance documentation.
Track daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs including completion rates and qualification status.
Supervise Trainers and Training Coordinators while coaching and developing the team.
Partner with Operations, HR, and Safety to continuously improve training effectiveness.
Identify performance gaps and implement corrective coaching plans.

Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs.
Education/Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
3–5 years of leadership experience in Training, Transportation, Logistics, Operations, or Learning & Development.
Experience managing high-volume onboarding or training programs.
Experience delivering classroom and hands-on operational training.
Previous supervisory experience.
Valid Driver License.
Ability to pass TSA fingerprint background clearance.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent organizational, communication, coaching, and presentation skills.
Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, TSA, and food safety regulations preferred.
Physical Environment
The employee will regularly stand, walk, demonstrate operational tasks, and work both indoors and outdoors. The role requires movement between classrooms, parking lots, and operational areas, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in varying weather conditions.
