Following a new contract opening in august 2025 with a major client, Newrest Berlin is looking for a new talent to join a growing Supply chain team and be part of the country’s growth.

Under the responsibility of the Unit manager based in Berlin, the Supply Manager is in charge of:

 

  • Ensure the optimal utilization of space through warehouse/logistics consolidation
  • Ensure that purchases are made on time.
  • Cost management: buying the right products in the right quantities, while using our Software Winrest
  • Ensures that deliveries are in line with orders placed.
  • Manage the supply chain organization
  • Team management, planning and distribution of tasks.
  • Strategically manage the warehouse in line with company policies and vision.
  • Ensure warehouse tidiness and cleanliness.
  • Organize daily outings with departments.
  • Communicate with the CSM on stock levels to manage orders and avoid stock-outs.
  • Rotate product as appropriate, provide designated items to appropriate department
  • Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Conduct inbound processes of new merchandise in accordance with guidelines and following all prescribed procedures, ability to understand specificities for each airline
  • This position is responsible for all day-to-day warehouse/ inventory/logisitics activities in the facility
  • This role will include the physical and administrative handling of merchandise

Profile

Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification is a plus
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain management, preferably within food industry
  • Knowledge of supply chain best practices
  • Familiarity with supply chain software, including inventory management and forecasting tools
  • Comfortable in using Excel and familiar with an ERP
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Negotiation and communication capabilities
  • Valid Driving License
  • Ability and agility to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English and German. 
  • Ability to work mornings, day, weekends (depending on assigned shift)
  • Attendance, diligence, punctuality, reliability
  • This position requires interpersonal skills & the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment
