Mission
Job Description
- Oversee day to day operation.
- Tag inoperative vehicles and coordinate with the supervisor to be send for repair.
- Perform technical inspection on vehicles returned to service from the maintenance partner.
- Ensure pre/post trip inspections are performed thoroughly. Maintain inventory and provide all the support equipment needed for the trucks.
- Report daily activities to Fleet Supervisor.
- Report vehicle damages and incidents on the dock area.
- Monitor that all traffic in the dock area follows posted speed limits.
- Report any irregularities to the Supervisor and Safety Team.
Profile
- Must be at least 21 Years old
- Highschool or equivalent (Required)
- Strong communication and coaching skills
- Ability to lift at least 0 LBS, work outdoors, and being on foot for long periods of time
- Must hold a valid driver license to operate a motor vehicle in Texas
- No traffic moving violations in the last 24 months
- Pass a background check
- Pass a practical exam, demonstrating proficiency in the vehicle inspection process
- Minimum 1 year vehicle maintenance or mechanical background (Required)
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Schedule flexibility
