Shifts: Rotating Nine and half hour Shifts, 5 on 3 off
Hours: Various start times, you must be able to work all shifts on rotation
Start Times: Between 3.00 am and 10.00 am and finish between 12.30 pm and 19.30
Rate: £18.19 per hour
Overtime: 1.2 of hourly rate, after the completion of 173 hours each month

Profile
Roles and Responsibilities
- Driving high-loader and catering vehicles airside.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the vehicle and loading areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues immediately.
- Comply with Food Safety and Hygiene protocols.
- Loading, unloading as per the galley plans and delivering catering to aircraft safely and on time.
- Ensure vehicle is security checked and sealed by an authorised staff member before departure with completed specified documentation.
- Drive HGV2 (Class 2) trucks to transport catering trolleys, meals, beverages, and equipment to aircraft stands or airport terminals.
- Coordinating with flight crews and operations teams.
- Working to strict aviation safety and security procedures.
Essential Skills
- Valid UK HGV Category C (Class 2) licence.
- Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
- Digital Tachograph card.
- A team player who can effectively manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality.
- Physically fit and capable of working at heights, indoor fridge temperatures around 5 degrees, all outdoor weather conditions and fast-paced environments.
- Lift and/or push up to 25kg.
- Must be flexible to work shifts as operations run seven days a week requirement (including evenings and public holidays), you will be required to extend shifts depending on airside operational requirements.
