Mission

Newrest has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Administrator, you will need to be organised and detail-oriented to support daily Warehouse operations. You will be responsible for accurate record keeping, coordinating with warehouse staff and ensuring smooth administrative processes in a fast-paced environment.   You will also be required to monitor stock levels and collaborate with the purchasing team to maintain optimal inventory levels.

Report To:                  Warehouse Manager 

Salary:                        £13.21 per hour

Hours of Work:          40 hours (including weekends)

Profile

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities 

1.    Maintain accurate records of inventory, deliveries and dispatches.

2.    Prepare and process warehouse documentation including delivery notes, GRNs.

3.    Update warehouse management systems with stock movements and adjustments.

4.    Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers and supervisors to support daily operations.

5.    Monitor inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and timelines.

6.    Investigate and report stock discrepancies or damages.

7.    Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures, safety and security standards.

8.    Support stock count, audits and inventory reports.

9.    Handle emails, filing, data entry and general administrative task.

10.  Adhere to Unit and Inflight safety measures and compliance requirements.

11.  Comply with all unit Corporate, Social, Responsibility initiatives. 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Minimum 1/2 years’ experience in an office environment. (desirable). 
  • The ability to work calmly, using initiative in a time sensitive environment.
  • Numerate and literate, ability to interface with management.
  • Proactive and positive/flexible attitude.
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
