Mission

Newrest is looking for Leads in our Pick & Pack department who will be responsible for ensuring that food trolleys are properly filled, and processes followed for our airline client.

Job Qualifications

  • Lead by example in all responsibilities of Pick & Pack.
  • Ensure all policies and processes are followed in Pick & Pack area.
  • Rotate product as appropriate, provide designated items to appropriate departments.
  • Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Conduct inbound processes of new merchandise in accordance with guidelines and following all prescribed procedures, ability to understand specificities for each airline.
  • Physical and administrative handling of merchandise.
  • Take appropriate action to label, store, sort, dispose of merchandise as instructed.
  • Inform Supervisor, or Manager of daily activity and/or any issues/concerns.
  • Assist in maintaining Security and Health and Safety requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to procedural and policy requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
  • This position requires the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned by supervisor or management.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
