Mission
- Develop, implement, and monitor training programs within an organisation.
- Create brochures and training materials.
- Create testing and evaluation processes.
- Prepare and implement training budget.
- Evaluate needs of company and plan training programs accordingly.
- Provide employees with classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, and workshops.
- Provide regular performance & training feedback to management.
- Application of Learnerships to Seta.
- Submission of WSP’s & ATR’s to Seta.
- Working closely with CATH Seta on all training related matters.
- keeping up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending relevant courses;
- Having an understanding of e-learning techniques, and where relevant, being involved in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packages;
- Researching new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and presenting this research.
- Amending and revising programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment.
- Ensure that you are accredited as a trainer by the relevant authority
- Assess and evaluate the needs and requirements of the working staffs in terms of competency and awareness in the day-to day operation with regard to hygiene and safety practices
- Create and update the training plan according the basic requirements of the Company, the needs detected during the audits, or the legal requirements.
- Ensure that the training matrix contains the required trainings for each job site, in order to assure the Health and Safety and Food Safety within the operations.
- Actively participate in internal as well as external audits; and
- You are required to perform any other reasonable tasks required by your Unit QC Manager or the Senior HR Manager.
- Any other reasonable task that may be required by management.
Profile
Qualifications:
- Diploma in HR discipline/ Food Technology/ consumer science related qualification.
- SDF Certification will be an advantage.
- Basic Knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 22000.
- Assessor and Moderator certification.
- Fully competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role;
- Working experience in QAQC.
- At Least 2 years’ experience in food safety.
