Required Responsibilities 

  • Evaluate compliance on the ramp (perform an audit of ramp operations) & take immediate corrective actions (including reporting to HR for disciplinary measures). 

  • Guide and ensure safe operations on the ramp. 

  • Coach the drivers on the ramp when immediate correction is required. 

  • Complete flight audits, which are expected to be conducted outside the vehicle, and interact with the driver/guide teams.  

  • Proactive intervention should be exercised anytime an actual or potential risk arises. 

  • Conduct dock audit with address/correct failures and safety violations observed at the dock: improper chocking, reversing without a guide, and other unsafe practices. 

  • Complete reports and send updates via WhatsApp safety auditor group immediately following the shift, including the date, supervisor on duty, number of audits completed, including amount passed/failed, explanation if the quota is not met, details of incidents or accidents that occurred, and coaching if applicable. 

  • Ensure compliance with all Newrest, airport, civil aviation, security, and local regulatory standards and provide guidance and clarification on these regulations. 

  • Work with the operations team to deliver practical safety briefings and proactive safety communication programs. 

  • Support safety training initiatives. 

  • Continuously identify, assess, and reduce/eliminate health and safety risks. 

  • Investigate accidents, injuries, and safety opportunities, then complete associated reports and recommend corrective actions. 

  • Safely operate company vehicles according to all policies, including pre-shift inspections and end-of-shift cleanouts. 

  • Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to increase performance. 

  • Other job duties may be assigned based on operational need

Profile

Education/Experience Requirements 

 

  • High School Diploma required. 

  • Previous experience as an auditor preferred. 

  • Must possess a valid Driver License 

  • Must be able to pass airport security clearance and test. 

  • Solid understanding of OSHA laws, especially as it pertains to driving. 

  • Knowledge of airport safety regulations preferred. 

  • Strong understanding of logistics and fleet procedures 

  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and operational processes 

  • Good knowledge of HACCP & food safety standards 

  • Aptitude in showing self-initiative and follow-through.
