Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to oversee our procurement and supply chain operations. A key focus of this role will be managing the importation of goods to control costs while ensuring compliance with international trade standards. The successful candidate will also lead procurement activities to maintain the seamless flow of materials required for inflight catering operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Importation Management:
- Identify and engage reliable international suppliers to source high-quality products at cost-effective rates.
- Oversee all importation processes, including shipping logistics, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance.
- Stay updated on global trade policies, tariffs, and currency fluctuations to inform sourcing decisions.
Procurement Management:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives and budget constraints.
- Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and build long-term partnerships.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production and service delivery.
Cost Management:
- Analyze supply chain and procurement operations to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets and forecast procurement costs.
Operational Coordination:
- Work closely with production teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and alignment with operational needs.
- Manage supplier performance and resolve issues to maintain quality and service standards.
Risk and Compliance Management:
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address potential supply chain disruptions.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain and procurement team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Provide training on best practices in procurement, importation, and supply chain management.

Profile
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, including importation and procurement.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
- Proven track record in cost management, supplier negotiation, and operational efficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
- Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
